Toronto police say an Ajax man and an Oshawa woman are among three people facing charges after a violent gunpoint robbery in Scarborough.
Officers were called about a robbery in the McNicholl Avenue and Middlefield Road area on Tuesday.
They say two men wearing disguises walked into an office brandishing guns.
Three of the employees were tied up with duct tape and electrical cords, while a fourth employee was forced out of the building at gunpoint.
One of the men stayed at the office and the other told the fourth employee to drive to a nearby bank.
Once there, he was forced to withdraw large amounts of money in cash and give it to the robber.
Both robbers had fled by the time police arrived, with at least one taking off on foot.
The day after the robbery, police from the Hold Up Squad arrested all three suspects, seized a replica handgun and recovered stolen bank notes along with a large quantity of cash.
Krishan Arora, 36, of Toronto and Dinash Chaudhry, 27, of Ajax both face charges including: robbery with a firearm, kidnapping, four counts of forcible confinement, threaten death, disguise with intent and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
Kennedy Kelly, 21, of Oshawa was also arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and possession of property obtained by crime.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 416-808-7350 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 (TIPS).
