The Blue Jays are moving their training camp back to Toronto.
On Thursday, the federal government agreed to exempt them from certain travel restrictions as they return to Rogers Centre.
The players will be quarantining at the hotel attached to the stadium.
So far, the team has been training in Florida – one of the worst-hit states in the U.S.
Several players and staff have tested positive for COVID-19 over the course of training.
However, the league continues to screen players for the virus. Only those who test negative twice will be allowed to enter Canada.
While players will be training in Toronto, it’s not clear if they’ll also be playing the 60-game regular season there.
