The Chestnut Hill Developments Rec Complex in Pickering is turning into a place where you can warm up during the cold weather.
Officials say the complex, on Valley Farm Road south of Kingston Road, will act as a designated warming centre Thursday through Sunday evening.
The centre will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Leashed pets are welcome, as long as they are well controlled.
Extra seating will be available in the lobby.
Masks are mandatory inside the warming centre and physical distancing will be in effect.
