A 3-year-old has died and another child is in hospital after they were struck by a car in Etobicoke.
Toronto police were called at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday to the area of The East Mall and Burnhamthorpe Road.
They say a man was also struck.
One child was found with no vital signs and has since been pronounced dead.
The other was found in life-threatening condition and was rushed to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
As well, the driver has been taken to hospital in unknown condition.
If you’re driving in the area, there will be road closures through the afternoon.
