The Clarington Public Library is offering virtual storytime, downloadable family activity sheets and educational videos to keep kids of all ages busy during the April Break.
You can find the “Let’s Get Crafty” activity sheets on the library website.
There’s also an upcoming virtual storytime, featuring spring-themed songs, stories and activities, on Wednesday.
The event will be streamed live on the library’s YouTube channel at 2 p.m.
If you can’t make it, the full video of the event will be hosted online for later viewing.
The library YouTube channel is being filled with virtual content, like Storytime Shorts, Baby Bookworms, and Tales for Toddlers.
“Families can participate in spring break programming both offline and virtually,” says Linda Kent, CEO, Clarington Public Library, Museums, and Archives. “They can engage with the activities sheets for some quality screen-free time and enjoy a virtual storytime live with our staff.”
The library is also still offering phone service for research, reference and reading suggestions.
Another new option is borrow by mail, which allows you to get library material sent to you by mail.
For library service, call Member Services at 905-623-7322 ext. 2712.
