Three Clarington teens are facing charges after Durham police say they threatened someone in Bowmanville.
Officers say they drove to the victim’s house with an imitation gun near Liberty Street and King Street around 12:10 a.m. Thursday.
Officers say the suspects drove by the victim’s home in a dark tinted vehicle and police were called.
They caught up with the vehicle nearby and also found and imitation Glock handgun in the area.
All three were arrested.
Marco Costa-Gil, Keron Wells, Njabulo Mhlongo, all 18, of Clarington were charged with utter threats/death or bodily harm, use imitation firearm to commit indictable offence and possess weapon for committing offence.
Costa-Gil was held for a bail hearing and the other two suspects were released on an undertaking.
