The operators of the CN Tower say they’ve secured the source of “falling debris” in the area.
The tower itself was closed Thursday, following a report of glass falling to the ground.
“We are working with local authorities and monitoring the situation and conditions at and around our property closely,” reads a statement.
It is not clear what caused the debris to fall, although the City of Toronto was placed under a wind warning Thursday.
Due to a report of falling debris, please be advised that the CN Tower is currently closed and areas surrounding the CN Tower have been closed as a precaution.
