Ontario Premier Doug Ford responded to the long-term care staffing study, which found the government should “urgently” hire new nurses and front-line workers to give long-term care residents the four hours of daily care they need, saying they would “fix the problem” in the facilities. Ford said there’s “no doubt” more staffing is needed and they need to “put a number to that.”
