Coronavirus: Ontario’s test positivity rate below 3 for first time in 4 months's Profile



Dr. David Williams, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health, said on Thursday that out of 52,000 COVID-19 tests done in the past 24 hours, the test positivity rate was 2.6, the first time since October to drop below 3. He said this shows the effectiveness of public health measures that have been in place since Boxing Day.
