The four victims of a shocking mass shooting in Oshawa will soon be laid to rest.
Oshawa Funeral Home has scheduled a “drive-past” visitation for Chris Traynor and three of his children, including 20-year-old Bradley, 15-year-old Adelaide and 10-year-old Joey.
The event will happen on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Friends, relatives and community members are invited to drive through and offer prayers or condolences. You’ll have to stay in your vehicle until an attendant gives you permission to step out.
Oshawa Funeral Home is at 847 King Street West, at the intersection of King Street and Thornton Road South.
A private funeral will happen the day after.
The four family members died in the early hours of September 4. The suspect – a relative of the family – is believed to have turned the gun on himself.
An online fundraiser has also been launched to support the family in the wake of the incident. Click here for more information.
