A driver in Brooklin is facing charges after getting caught speeding twice by the same officer.
She was stopped Tuesday near Thickson Road and Carnwith Drive, driving 30 kilometres per hour over the speed limit.
The previous week, she had been stopped by that very same officer.
Police say she was driving 30 over that time as well.
They say because she wasn’t stunt driving her car wasn’t taken immediately, but if convicted there is a chance the vehicle gets seized.
Another community complaint brought our enforcement team back to thickson / carnwith @TownofWhitby and one young lady was stopped for 31 km/hr over … she was stopped last week by the same officer for 30 over as well… charged accordingly. #slowdown #durhamvisionzero ^bb pic.twitter.com/WL15rc4sA6
