A nine-year-old boy in Toronto is expected to make a full recovery after police say he was hit by a tow truck.
Officers were called shortly before 5 a.m. on Saturday, to the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Scarlett Road.
The boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the tow truck driver initially fled the scene, but later returned.
It’s not clear if there will be charges.
