DRPS trying to identify man with gun in Pickering's Profile



Durham police are looking for help identifying a man wanted for threatening another with a gun in Pickering.

On Sunday, October 9, around 2:35 p.m., officers were called to the Brock Road and Concession Road 3 area after getting information that a man was following another around, pointing a gun at him numerous times.

The victim and suspect, according to police, were in separate vehicles and are unknown to each other.

The suspect is described as Black, with a medium build, short ‘dread style’ hair and having a small goatee. He was wearing a black hoody with the hood up.  He was believed to be operating a sedan style, 2015-2016 black two-door Acura.

Investigators are asking anyone who was in the following areas around this time and that may have dash-cam or cellphone video to contact them immediately.

  • Taunton Road between Church Street and Westney Road
  • Westney Road and Rossland Road
  • Rossland Road and Conession Road 3

Police are urging the suspect to contact a lawyer and turn himself in.
