For the third day in a row, Durham’s health department is announcing just a single case of COVID-19.
Monday’s update also comes with four more resolved cases.
The number of active cases continues to drop. That number is now at 21, all of whom are isolating at home.
No new deaths have been reported. Thus, the region’s death roll remains at 181.
A total of 1,796 cases have been confirmed since the start of the pandemic. Of these, 1,594 are considered resolved.
Here’s the regional breakdown as of Monday:
Pickering — 597 total cases, seven active (no new cases)
Ajax — 473 total cases, four active (no new cases)
Whitby — 201 total cases, three active (no new cases)
Oshawa — 285 total cases, six active (one new case)
Clarington — 102 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
Uxbridge — 107 total cases, one active (no new cases)
Scugog — 20 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
Brock — 11 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
