The Durham Health Department will be issuing an extreme cold weather alert.
It’s expected to begin Tuesday afternoon and last until Wednesday morning.
Extreme cold weather alerts are issued by the health department when Environment Canada forecasts a temperature of -15°C or colder, and/or a wind chill of -20°C or colder.
