Durham police looking to ID man who stole wallet and made purchases in Whitby's Profile



Durham police are looking to identify a man in Whitby who made several purchases using stolen bank cards.

Investigators say he went into an unattended vehicle on Regal Briar Street around 6:40 a.m. on October 10, taking the driver’s wallet and golf clubs.

Shortly after, he was captured on security footage buying items at a nearby Metro grocery store, as well as a Shell gas station.

The suspect is described as white with a heavy build, and wearing an orange reflective vest, a black hat and work boots.
