Durham police seeking food and toy donations for ‘Cram-a-Cruiser’ event's Profile

Durham police are back and asking for your help ‘cramming a cruiser’ with toys and food donations.

This weekend’s Cram-a-Cruiser event begins Saturday at the Oshawa Costco (near Adelaide Avenue and Ritson Road), from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

It continues Sunday at a pair of locations. Officers will be on-hand at both the Oshawa Sobeys (near Taunton Road and Wilson Road) and the Bowmanville FreshCo (near Scugog Street and Longworth Avenue) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Cram-a-Cruiser is part of the service’s annual food and toy drive. There will be 15 cruisers going around over the course of the season.

Organizers are asking for non-perishable food items, and new, unwrapped toys.
