Durham police seize $54,000 in drugs and cash while investigating suspected drug deals in Oshawa's Profile



Two suspected drug dealers are facing charges after Durham police searched an Oshawa home and seized thousands of dollars worth of drugs.

Officers got several complaints about drug trafficking on Division Street and searched a home at a residence on the street November 12.

Five people were arrested at the home and one suspect fled on foot, but was arrested a short distance away.

Officers seized approximately $52,000 in drugs including crystal meth, heroin, crack cocaine, fentanyl and pot along with more than $2,500 in cash.

Michael Samuels, 46, of no fixed address and Davion Brown, 39, of Whitby were each charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking. Samuels was also charged with breach of probation.
