Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for much of southern Ontario, including Durham.
The weather agency warns significant snowfall will start around 12 p.m. on Wednesday and last into Thursday.
A Texas low is expected to bring between 15 to 20 centimetres of snow to Durham.
Environment Canada says it could be tough to see at times due to heavy snow and rapid accumulation will make it difficult to travel.
