Durham reports 122 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday's Profile



On Sunday, 122 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.

One new death was reported, bringing the death toll in the region to 308.

Of those who have died, 217 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified in the region remains at 101. This follows a rise of 17 variant cases on Saturday.

To date there have been 14,827 cases in Durham, with 13,200 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 1,319 active cases in the region.

Of those, 1,265 people are isolating at home and 54 are in hospital.

Fourteen of the people in hospital are in the ICU.

Some of the cases that were added to regional totals are from previous days.
