Durham reports 128 new COVID-19 cases on Monday's Profile



On Monday, 128 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll in the region at 308.

Of those who have died, 217 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified in the region rose by six to 107.

To date there have been 14,968 cases in Durham, with 13,366 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 1,294 active cases in the region.

Of those, 1,239 people are isolating at home and 55 are in hospital.

Fourteen of the people in hospital are in the ICU.

Some of the cases that were added to regional totals are from previous days.
