Durham reports 13 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, active case number fall to 127's Profile



The number of COVID-19 cases in Durham rose by 13 on Friday.

Active cases in the region dropped by eight, down to 127.

On the region’s data tracker it shows 14 new cases for Friday, but the number only rose by 13.

Two people are in hospital because of the virus, one in the ICU. The rest are isolating at home.

To date, there have been 2,214 cases confirmed in the region. Of those, 1,906 are listed as resolved.

Here is the regional breakdown as of Friday:

Pickering — 27 active cases (three new), 693 total
Ajax — 39 active cases (five new), 622 total
Whitby — 24 active cases (one new), 275 total
Oshawa — 17 active cases (two new), 336 total
Clarington — 13 active cases (one new), 135 total
Uxbridge — one active case (one new), 112 total
Scugog — two active cases, 25 total
Brock — four active cases, 16 total
