Durham reports 13 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday; active case count down to 119's Profile



Durham active case count has gone up by 13 and down by 21.

Saturday’s update adds 13 new COVID-19 cases and 21 more resolved cases.  Hence, the active case count has lowered to 119.

Two people are in hospital; one is in intensive care.  The rest are isolating at home.

To date, there have been 2,227 cases confirmed in the region.  Of those, 1,927 are listed as resolved.

Here is the regional breakdown as of Saturday:

Pickering — 24 active cases, 693 total
Ajax — 39 active cases (six new), 628 total
Whitby — 22 active cases (one new), 276 total
Oshawa — 15 active cases (two new), 338 total
Clarington — 12 active cases (four new), 139 total
Uxbridge — one active case, 112 total
Scugog — two active cases, 25 total
Brock — four active cases, 16 total
