On Friday, 134 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.
Two deaths were reported, bringing the death toll in the region at 351.
Of those who have died, 218 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.
The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 8,133.
To date there have been 23,080 cases in Durham, with 21,591 of those cases now listed as resolved.
There are currently 1,138 active cases in the region.
Of those, 1,064 people are isolating at home and 74 are in hospital.
Twenty-five of the people in hospital are in the ICU.

As of May 13, 271,238 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Durham. However, that number does not include those doses given at pharmacies.
