On Thursday, 145 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.
One death was reported, bringing the death toll in the region to 342.
Of those who have died, 218 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.
The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 7,096.
To date there have been 21,798 cases in Durham, with 19,603 of those cases now listed as resolved.
There are currently 1,853 active cases in the region.
Of those, 1,766 people are isolating at home and 87 are in hospital.
Thirty of the people in hospital are in the ICU.
