Durham reports 16 new COVID-19 cases since Thursday's Profile



On Tuesday, Durham confirmed that there have been 16 new COVID-19 cases since Thursday.

The health department did not report daily numbers between July 31 and August 3 as they converted to a new reporting system.

According to new numbers released on Tuesday nine new cases were reported on July 31, five new cases were reported on August 1, one new case was reported on August 2 and one new case was reported on August 3.

This brings the total number of cases confirmed in the region to 1,819.

The death toll stands at 181.

The number of resolved cases is now 1,617.

There are currently 21 active cases in Durham.

An updated regional breakdown of cases by municipality was not available on Tuesday.
