Durham reports 25 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday's Profile



On Wednesday, 25 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Durham.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll in the region at 378.

Of those who have died, 221 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 10,441.

To date there have been 26,384 cases in Durham, with 25,807 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 199 active cases in the region.

Of those, 190 people are isolating at home and nine are in hospital.

One of those in hospital is in the ICU.
