Durham reports 34 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday's Profile



On Wednesday, 34 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Durham.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll in the region at 382.

Of those who have died, 224 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 10,505.

To date there have been 26,587 cases in Durham, with 26,043 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 162 active cases in the region.

Of those, 156 people are isolating at home and six are in hospital.

One of those in hospital is in the ICU.
