On Friday, 38 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.
One more death was reported bringing the death toll in the region 287.
Of those who died 215 people were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.
To date there have been 10,947 cases in Durham with 10,298 of those cases now listed as resolved.
There are 362 active cases in the region.
Of those, 335 people are isolating at home and 27 are in hospital.
Twelve of the people in hospital are in the ICU.
It’s important to note that the regional data for two confirmed cases is still under investigation.
Some of the cases that were added to regional totals are actually from previous days.
