Durham reports 38 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 37 new cases on Sunday and 27 new cases Monday's Profile



The Durham Health Department is no longer providing updates on COVID-19 data on the weekends.

The data from Saturdays and Sundays is now released on Monday.

Durham reported 38 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 37 new cases on Sunday and 27 new cases Monday.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll in the region at 375.

Of those who have died, 218 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 10,208.

To date there have been 26,111 cases in Durham, with 25,531 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 205 active cases in the region.

Of those, 196 people are isolating at home and nine are in hospital.

Three of those in hospital are in the ICU.

The regional data for seven confirmed cases is under investigation.

As of August 29, 943,739 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Durham.
