Durham reports 38 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday's Profile



On Wednesday, 38 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.

One more death was reported, bringing the death toll in the region to 299.

Of those who have died, 217 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

To date there have been 11,945 cases in Durham, with 11,425 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 221 active cases in the region.

Of those, 203 people are isolating at home and 18 are in hospital.

Nine of the people in hospital are in the ICU.

Some of the cases that were added to regional totals are from previous days.
