Durham reports 41 new COVID-19 cases on Friday's Profile



On Friday, 41 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Durham.

One new death was reported, bringing the death toll in the region to 380.

Of those who have died, 223 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 10,463.

To date there have been 26,456 cases in Durham, with 25,892 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 184 active cases in the region.

Of those, 175 people are isolating at home and nine are in hospital.

One of those in hospital is in the ICU.
