The daily number of new COVID-19 cases in Durham continues to decline.
On Tuesday, 48 new cases were confirmed.
One more death was also reported bringing the death toll in the region to 285.
Of those who died, 215 people were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.
To date 10,824 cases have been confirmed in Durham with 10,104 of those cases now listed as resolved.
There are 435 active cases in the region.
Of those 409 people are isolating at home and 26 are in hospital.
Fourteen of those in hospital are in the ICU.
It’s important to note that the regional data for one confirmed case is still under investigation.
Some of the cases that were added to regional totals are actually from previous days.
