Durham reports 49 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday's Profile



On Thursday, 49 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.

No new deaths were announced leaving the death toll in the region 286.

Of those who died, 215 people were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

To date 10,907 cases have been reported in Durham with 10,208 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are 413 active cases in the region.

Of those 387 people are isolating at home and 26 are in hospital.

Twelve of the people in hospital are in the ICU.

It’s important to note that the regional data for one confirmed case is still under investigation.

Some of the cases that were added to regional totals are actually from previous days.
