On Wednesday, 53 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.
One new death was reported, bringing the death toll in the region to 302.
Of those who have died, 217 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.
The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified in the region rose by one to 66.
To date there have been 12,565 cases in Durham, with 11,952 of those cases now listed as resolved.
There are currently 311 active cases in the region.
Of those, 284 people are isolating at home and 27 are in hospital.
Eleven of the people in hospital are in the ICU.
