Durham reports 55 new COVID-19 cases on Friday's Profile



On Friday, 55 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Durham.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll in the region at 382.

Of those who have died, 224 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 10,523.

To date there have been 26,675 cases in Durham, with 26,088 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 205 active cases in the region.

Of those, 202 people are isolating at home and three are in hospital.

One of those in hospital is in the ICU.
