Durham reports 92 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday's Profile



On Sunday, 92 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Durham.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll in the region at 359.

Of those who have died, 218 were residents at long-term care or retirement homes.

The number of COVID-19 variant cases identified is now 8,896.

To date there have been 24,103 cases in Durham, with 22,609 of those cases now listed as resolved.

There are currently 1,135 active cases in the region.

Of those, 1,084 people are isolating at home and 51 are in hospital.

Twenty-one of the people in hospital are in the ICU.

As of May 22, 364,160 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Durham.
