Durham reports one new COVID-19 case on Tuesday, number of active cases drops to 43's Profile



On Tuesday, Durham announced one new case of COVID-19.

No new deaths were reported so the death toll remains 180.

Of the deaths in the region, 152 are linked to long-term care and retirement homes.

To date 1,699 cases have been reported in Durham.

The number of cases listed as resolved is 1,475.

There are currently 43 active cases.

Here’s the regional breakdown of all of total and active cases reported as of Tuesday:

Pickering — 564 total cases, seven active (no new cases)
Ajax — 444 total cases, 16 active (one new case)
Whitby — 194 total cases, nine active (no new cases)
Oshawa — 268 total cases, five active (no new cases)
Clarington — 95 total cases,  one active (no new cases)
Uxbridge — 103 total cases, two active (no new cases)
Scugog — 20 total cases, three active (no new cases)
Brock — 10 total cases, none active (no new cases)
