Durham reports three new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, active cases rise to 21's Profile



Durham’s health department announced three new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

No new cases were reported as resolved on Wednesday, meaning the number of cases considered resolved is unchanged, at 15,98

No new deaths have been reported.  Thus, the region’s death roll remains at 181.

A total of 1,800 cases have been confirmed since the start of the pandemic.

Here’s the regional breakdown as of Wednesday:

Pickering — 598 total cases, six active (no new cases)
Ajax — 475 total cases, four active (two new cases)
Whitby — 202 total cases, four active (one new case)
Oshawa — 285 total cases, six active (no new cases)
Clarington — 102 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
Uxbridge — 107 total cases, one active (no new cases)
Scugog — 20 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
Brock — 11 total cases, zero active (no new cases)
