It could be a tough drive to and from work Monday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Durham Region.
It says periods of rain beginning could create hazardous road conditions.
The roads could be slick and it could also be tough to see when you’re driving.
They’re calling for 25 to 40 millimetres of rain by Monday night.
Flooding is also possible in low-lying areas.
They’re reminding you to make sure storm drains aren’t covered in leaves or debris to help minimize flooding.
The rain is coming from a low pressure system that is forecast to track northeast across southern Ontario Monday.
