Five new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Durham since Friday's Profile



There were five new cases of COVID-19 in Durham since the previous update on Friday.

The Durham Region Health Department no longer updates COVID-19 data on weekends.

The region now has 27 active cases, with all but one being dealt with in home isolation.

The other is being treated in hospital but not the ICU.

No new deaths were announced leaving the death toll in the region at 181.

To date 1,832 cases have been confirmed locally.

Of those 1,624 are listed as resolved.

Here’s the regional breakdown as of Monday:

Pickering — 603 total cases
Ajax — 494 total cases
Whitby — 205 total cases
Oshawa — 289 total cases
Clarington — 102 total cases
Uxbridge — 108 total cases
Scugog — 20 total cases
Brock — 11 total cases
