On Tuesday, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) announced charges against a former Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) superintendent.
The charges are in relation to an incident that reportedly happened in Toronto in February of 2014.
William Price is facing one count of sexual assault.
Price will appear in court on March 4.
The SIU is an arm’s length agency that investigates events involving the police that have resulted in death, serious injury, or reports of sexual assault.
