A fourth person has died after a tractor accident in Quebec.
Quebec’s provincial police announced the death on Saturday.
The accident happened Wednesday evening, in the municipality of Notre-Dame-de-Stanbridge, southeast of Montreal.
Ten people were riding in the front shovel of the tractor when they were thrown for unclear reasons.
Three children – all under five-years-old – died in the incident.
The fourth victim was an adult who has not been identified.
The driver has been charged with criminal negligence causing death and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
Police said on Thursday that alcohol may have been a factor.
