Everybody is safe, following a possible bomb scare in Toronto’s west end.
Crews were called around 9:30 p.m. Saturday to a home on Dunning Crescent, near Highway 427 and the Queen Elizabeth Way.
Toronto police tweeted out that a “possible WWII (sic) device” had been found.
A number of homes in the area were briefly evacuated as a precaution.
The Explosives Disposal Unit (EDU) was called in, and found that the object was inactive.
It’s not clear if it was actually a bomb, or if it was actually from the Second World War.
