Honda is recalling 52,000 vehicles sold in Canada and nearly 500,000 sold in the United States over concerns about the front seatbelts.
The company notes that some of the seatbelts have been found to deteriorate over the years, affecting their ability to clasp safely.
Among the affected models are:
- Odyssey, 2018-2020
- Accord, 2018-2019
- Insight, 2019
- CR-V, 2017-2020
- Acura RDX, 2019-2020
So far, the company says there have been no reported injuries.
If you own one of the affected models, Honda will be sending out letters starting in April.
