Durham Region says lanes will be restricted at the intersection of Rossland Road West and Westney Road North (Regional Road 31) in Ajax starting Monday.
Crews will be modifying an existing watermain valve chamber, leading to daytime restrictions around the intersection.
The work is expected to wrap up by September 17 and the restrictions are only scheduled to be in place from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
As always, bad weather could cause delays.
Drivers are asked to slow down and watch out for cyclists, pedestrians and work crews.
