A man is in hospital in stable condition after his tractor rolled on top of him in Clarington.
It happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday on Green Road near Nash Road.
Durham police say fire crews managed to rescue the man and he was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
Police say his condition has since stabilized.
Officers attended the scene and the investigation continues.
