Durham police say a man and a woman are facing charges after officers found drugs, cash and guns inside a pair of Oshawa homes.
They started investigating after officers spotted a man conducting multiple drug deals throughout the city.
Investigators soon figured out that two homes were being used to store and sell drugs.
The alleged dealer officers were investigating, Arielle Williams, 35, of Oshawa, was arrested near Stevenson Road and Adelaide Avenue.
During the arrest, officers seized a loaded restricted handgun, cash and drugs which included meth, cocaine, and fentanyl.
Later, police searched the two homes– on Simcoe Street and Annapolis Avenue.
Officers uncovered drugs and cash in the Simcoe Street home and found drugs and another prohibited handgun in the Annapolis Avenue search.
Officers say the cash and drugs seized are worth around $9,000.
Williams faces a number firearm and drug trafficking charges.
As a result of the investigation, Kim Halasz, 43, of Oshawa was also arrested and charged with drug trafficking related offences.
