Man arrested after forcible confinement of teen girl at Toronto subway station's Profile



A man is now facing a charge of kidnapping after a suspicious incident involving a teen girl in a Toronto subway station.

It happened in the Bloor Street West and Royal York Road area around 1:30 p.m. April 5.

A 14-year-old girl was in a subway station when she was approached by a man, who put his arms around her, talked to her and then started escorting her away.

She told the man to let her go and someone who saw what was happening intervened, pulling the girl away from the man.

Leszek Kaptur, 73, of Toronto was arrested Tuesday in connection with the assault and forcible confinement investigation.
