Durham police are looking for an armed man following a cell phone store robbery in Bowmanville.
Officers were called around 10:30 a.m. Thursday to a Freedom Mobile location on Regional Highway 2, near Green Road.
They say the man had walked in with a gun and told the clerk to open the safe. He’d then driven off with cell phones and cash.
No one was physically harmed.
The man is described as having long white hair, a long pointy nose and a white beard. He was wearing all black clothing with a mask and reading glasses.
He took off in a black vehicle.
